Abstract
Universities must be mindful to ensure assessment does not compromise the overall standards of the programme, quality of teaching or disadvantage even students who are not able to attend the examination in-person. The rise and fall of an institution rest on the credibility and acceptability of the assessment system by the awarding bodies. Given this unprecedented new normal, where social distancing needs to be observed, this forum presents an alternative, but a credible way of assessing whether the student has attained the required course learning objectives.
